PLANTATIONS / Argendonax SRL

Argendonax S.A. has five Arundo Donax plantations. Annually, it produces 450.000 to 500.000 plants (between 7.000.000 and 8.000.000 of segments, blanks and reeds) and a large quantity for double reeds. Our plantation	The cultivation system used in our plantations is in furrows, separated by alleys of 6 and 10 meters of wide, depending on the plantation's age. The irrigation systems are the Californian and drip irrigation. In order to water our plantations, we have water wells of 180 to 200 meters deep.
Our cane are grown with worm humus and goat manure. We do not make use of pesticides, herbicides or agrochemicals. Mendoza's sun and land do the rest for us. They are essential in order to obtain this excellent raw material, which main features are its special sound and its unique yellow.	Cane drying in the sun
